Week 28: August 18 – August 24
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: pink Bougainvillea (from my balcony)
– Crayons and tags: just one week to go before the kids are going back to school, so stocking up on school supplies, and putting name tags on each items
– Black Board: I hurt my back yesterday while playing with my little man (I could not move for the rest of the day). I’m feeling a little bit better today.
– Mask: still mandatory (the cute new one the hospital gave to my little princess)

Week 27: August 11 – August 17
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: pink Bougainvillea (from my balcony)
– Basil leaves: from the newest plant on my balcony
– Book: “Demain les Chats” – Bernard Werber (just read a few pages so far but I like the author and looove cats so what could go wrong?)
– Hippos: my kids rediscovered the Hungry Hippos game in their closet, and it’s been non-stop playing since then!
– Mask: still mandatory (the cute new one the hospital gave to my little princess)

Week 26: August 04 – August 10
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: white flowers (sorry don’t know the name), freshly fallen from a tree, and picked up by my little girl during our morning walk to the park
– Magazine: Click Magazine, to fill up the inspiration tank
– Black board: Singapore’s Flag, yesterday Singapore celebrated its 55th birthday!
– Mask: still mandatory (the cute new one the hospital gave to my little princess)

Week 25: July 28 – August 03
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: Bougainvillea (from my balcony, finally bloomed!!!)
– Book: “La Prochaine Fois” – Marc Levy
– Black board: I decided this week to get back in shape and to run with my girls!! (and I hate running, so it’s quite painful…).
– Red hospital bracelet: for my morning in the ER with my youngest daughter (she’s okay 🙂 ).
– Mask: still mandatory (the cute new one the hospital gave to my little princess)

Week 24: July 21 – July 27
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: Frangipanee (picked up while walking down the street)
– Book: “Deux Etés” – Erik Orsenna
– Hammer : home-improvement week!!!
– Measuring tape: to pick up the right furniture to fit our somehow tight space 😉
– “Blue print”: not so blue…. for the assembly of said new furniture 🙂
– Mask: still mandatory (oh no!!!! I forgot it on the picture…)

Week 23: July 14 – July 20
– Palm Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: pink and white Gerbera flowers
– Book: “L’homme qui regardait la nuit” – Gilbert Sinoué
– Bubble mixes : We had a few bubble fights this week!
– Insta Pics: for a few things happening this week, like removing the old artwork and the kids room to update their “art gallery”; my weekly bouquet, and last but not least, my new plant, an orchid (a big challenge for me, since so far I had very little success with Orchids…).
– Mask: still mandatory (oh no!!!! I forgot it on the picture…)

Week 22: July 07 – July 13
– Monstera Plant Leaves: living tropical
– Flowers: pink and white Calla Lillies and red Anthurium
– Exercice books: Summer break means schooling exercise books “Cahiers de Vacances”, to not forget in these 2 months long vacations everything learned during the school year
– Glasses : A got a new pair of glasses this week!!

Week 21: June 30 – July 06
My Lay-Flat Mondays is a personal photography challenge.
– Monstera Plant Leaves: living tropical
– Curcuma flowers: they are beautiful and I like their peppery smell
– Black Board: “End of School” – this Friday was the last day for 2019-2020 school year – A sweet and sour day really because yes the kids were excited to be in summer break, but for us, as many other expats, summer break means flying to our home country to spend time with our family, but this year because of Covid-19 we can’t … 😦
– Insta Pictures : This week we were able to go back to the swimming pool!!
– Book: The library finally re-opened!! Yeah!!! So book of the week is “Frappe-toi le coeur” from Amelie Nothomb

Week 20: June 23 – June 29
– Monstera Plant Leaves: living tropical
– Pink Calla Lilies: they make a beautiful bouquet with the monstera leaves
– Purple umbrella: it has been raining like cats and dogs pretty much all week…
– Black Board: as you can see I’m celebrating the opening of Singapore’s business by a trip to the dentist
– Mangoes: we have been offered some delicious mangoes from India… really delicious… and a lot of them… so I’m becoming some sort an expert in the field of mango upside-down cake 🙂
– Mask: still mandatory (I discovered some advantages of worrying it as walking near a durian stand)

Week 19: June 16 – June 22
– Myrthus branches: the flower shop is now open again, so new scent for this week!
– Pink Flowers: Frangipani, pick up in the street on the way to school
– Blue Flowers: Hortensia – my grand-parents house in France has lots of beautiful ones, so they are loaded of emotions for me.
– Candles: another birthday this week – my second girl turned 8!!
– Black Board: “Phase 2” – which means that I can finally go back to work… yeah!!!
– mask: still mandatory (all day long for the kids at school…)
