2021 – Week 20

The purpose: describe my past week in just one picture, boots my creativity vibes at the same time, and stop going through life one week at the time without even noticing it.

– Eucalyptus branches: loving the smell of Australia

– Flowers: frangipani picked up by one of my girls this morning on the way to school

– Black board: we are back in covid-restrictions… the names varies, but the reality of it is still pretty much the same (work from home, stay inside as much as possible, homeschooling starting again later this week, …)

– Earrings: a gift from my best friend a few years back, because she lost her dad this week, and I’m thinking about her and wish I could be there with her

– Book: “Une fois dans ma vie”, author: Gilles Legardinier

– Monstera Leaves: living tropical

– Limes: for on of my girls surprising me with a home-made freshly squeezed lime juice when I came back from work #bestkidsever

-Black board: my submission got accepted and I’m now very excited to be a member of ClickPro Photographers group!!!

– Small yellow flower: a gift from my son 🙂

– Book: “La vallée de Rubis” Joseph Kessel – Makes me want to pack my suitcase and go on an adventure…

2021 – Week 15

The purpose: describe my past week in just one picture, boots my creativity vibes at the same time, and stop going through life one week at the time without even noticing it.

– Monstera and Palm tree Leaves: living tropical

– Mangoes: we received a shipment of mangoes as a gift this week. I love mangoes but it means lots of crumbles, mango cakes of all kings, mango salad….

-Black board: I had a fight with the sun again this week, and again it won….. I can’t stay in the heat anymore without getting sick which is a little difficult when living pretty much on the equator… so I’m now avoiding being out from 11am to 5pm…. I might be turning vampire….??

– Monstera and Plam tree Leaves: living tropical

– Painted eggs: painted by the kids for Easter, then hidden and searched during our eggs hunt!

– Bunny and Chocolate eggs: much more already eaten!

– Book: “On ne voyait que le bonheur” from Grégoire Delacourt. I started it during my toe’s surgery and probably because of that I’m having a hard time following the timeline of the story (I may have to start other…. or move on…).

Okay, so this week LayFlat Monday is on Wednesday… because Monday was actually too crazy!!!

– Monstera Leaves: living tropical

– Yellow school notebook: for 2 days of homeschooling!!

– Book: “Au Petit Bonheur la Chance” from Aurélie Valognes. I really enjoyed that book.

– Black Board: I ended up having to have a small surgery for my toe this week… yikes!!!

– Mask: my little boy first real mask

– Book: “Mère et fille, un roman” d’ Eliette Abécassis.

– Black Board: the kids discovered baseball this week and are big fans!! (I broke – really more like “exploded” – my nose playing baseball a long time ago, so I won’t push too much this new trend!)

2021 – Week 11

– Monstera Leaves: living tropical

– Flower: Bird of Paradise

– Music: a piece I studied a very very long time ago (I was a teenager!!!) and that I would like to be able to play again

– Book: “L’Enfant de Cristal” de Theodore Roszak. Interesting subject but I’m having a hard time staying interested in the book…. I started it 2 weeks a go, and will try to finish this week as I hate not finishing a book…. but not my favorite….

– Black Board: my poor toe!!! been in pain for months now, but getting worse… will eventually have to do something about it ;-).

– Mask: again and again and again….
